Meteorological Data System The meteorological data system will improve the safety of motorists during poor weather conditions by providing data regarding humidity, visibility, wind speed, wind directional, air temperature, and temperature of road surface. The Meteorological Data System products include the following components: Atmospheric sensor - air temperature, humidity; Atmospheric sensor - Wind speed and direction sensor, ; Atmospheric sensor - Weather identifier and visibility sensor; Pavement sensor - Road surface temperature sensor; Data acquisition controller - Linux Remote Processing Unit ; Other Products of Quixote Transportation Technologies, Inc ATT Systems provides integrated traffic management solution by considering the multi-plate radiation shields as required for atmospheric/non-atmonspheric sensors, the mounting structure with all necessary brackets and the data links from sensors to data acquisition controller.
